Job Description
Manager of Cloud and Data leading scalable data infrastructure at Outrider. Overseeing team mentoring and maintaining zero-emission autonomous vehicle technology operations.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor team members
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure
- Manage the day-to-day of team members
- Support long-term planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Support hiring, mentoring, and team growth
- Contribute generally to the growth and success of the Company and the building of a vibrant culture focused on the responsible deployment of zero-emission autonomous vehicle technology.
- Effectively partner with others in the organization with thoughtfulness and empathy
Requirements:
- 3+ years of technical experience in data engineering, including expertise with SQL, Python, distributed processing (e.g., Spark/PySpark), ETL/ELT, and cloud services (AWS/GCP)
- 2+ years of team management experience, including hiring, mentoring, and retaining high-impact, diverse teams
- Experience evaluating and integrating external services and software
- Experience leveraging agentic AI for team and organizational success
