Job Description

Manager leading SaaS/AI sourcing, procurement, and negotiations at GDIT, a global government technology services company. Driving FAR compliance, cost savings, supplier performance, and team development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the SaaS/AI application sourcing team
  • Coach day-to-day execution and establish standards for vendor selection, negotiations, and RFPs
  • Ensure implementation of category strategy and goal completion
  • Own complex SaaS negotiations and agreement reviews, including EULAs, SLAs, DPAs, Order Forms, and Master Agreements
  • Manage pricing, usage/true-up mechanics, audit rights, data security/privacy, and termination/renewal clauses
  • Ensure sourcing execution follows internal compliance standards, FAR, and other applicable government contracting regulations
  • Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, total cost of ownership analysis, and commercial risk assessments
  • Drive sourcing outcomes through negotiation plans
  • Manage pipelines, renewals calendars, dashboards, metrics, and ad hoc reporting
  • Standardize SaaS procurement processes and artifacts, including playbooks, templates, and checklists
  • Identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities and lead implementation
  • Support executive-level engagements with strategic suppliers
  • Prepare leadership-ready briefings and recommendations
  • Champion team growth, training, and development
  • Serve as the team’s primary escalation point and resolve challenges quickly and effectively

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; 4+ years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree
  • 5+ years in procurement/strategic sourcing with a focus on software
  • Proven experience leading sourcing projects or teams
  • Hands-on experience in FAR-compliant environments and government contracting
  • Familiarity with federal rules, clauses, and flowdowns
  • Experience negotiating software terms and conditions, including pricing constructs, usage/true-up, audit/verification, DPAs/security, and renewal/termination mechanics
  • Strategic RFP/sourcing experience and vendor management
  • Excellent written and oral communication across levels
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, coach team members, and drive outcomes through performance management and escalations
