Job Description

Global Indirect Procurement Specialist developing sourcing strategies for Capital Equipment and Construction at Solventum, a healthcare innovation company. Managing suppliers, contracts, and high-value procurement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies for assigned categories, including Capital Equipment and Construction
  • Establish and manage supplier relationships to secure cost and service benefits
  • Negotiate and establish effective supplier contract agreements
  • Hold suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality, and best-in-class service
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities and integrate procurement strategies, guidelines, and processes
  • Lead complex, high-value projects and initiatives with broad corporate implications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher and six (6) years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Engineering, or Legal in a private, public, government, or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of experience in those fields
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics and Supply Chain from an accredited institution
  • Negotiation skills with attention to detail
  • Skilled written and oral communications
  • Working knowledge of Capital Equipment and Construction supplier markets
  • Stakeholder management/influencing skills at a senior level
  • Business, contract language, and financial acumen
  • Additional language capabilities in German, Polish, and/or French
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
