Job Description
Global Indirect Procurement Specialist developing sourcing strategies for Capital Equipment and Construction at Solventum, a healthcare innovation company. Managing suppliers, contracts, and high-value procurement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global procurement strategies for assigned categories, including Capital Equipment and Construction
- Establish and manage supplier relationships to secure cost and service benefits
- Negotiate and establish effective supplier contract agreements
- Hold suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality, and best-in-class service
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities and integrate procurement strategies, guidelines, and processes
- Lead complex, high-value projects and initiatives with broad corporate implications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher and six (6) years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Engineering, or Legal in a private, public, government, or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of experience in those fields
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics and Supply Chain from an accredited institution
- Negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Skilled written and oral communications
- Working knowledge of Capital Equipment and Construction supplier markets
- Stakeholder management/influencing skills at a senior level
- Business, contract language, and financial acumen
- Additional language capabilities in German, Polish, and/or French
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
