Job Description

Market Development Manager building hospital pipeline for HistoSonics’ non-invasive histotripsy therapy. Qualifying accounts, developing physician relationships, and supporting Edison System adoption across Georgia and the Carolinas.

Responsibilities:

  • Map and prioritize target accounts based on liver tumor case volume, relevant program maturity, and capital equipment readiness
  • Build relationships with physicians, tumor board leaders, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders
  • Introduce histotripsy and the Edison System ahead of formal Area Sales Manager engagement
  • Conduct discovery conversations about clinical workflows, capital acquisition processes, and decision-making structures
  • Partner with Area Sales Managers to prioritize accounts, share stakeholder and clinical context, and track deal progression
  • Maintain accurate pipelines and territory plans and report pipeline health and prospecting metrics to the Area Sales Director
  • Coordinate with Account Managers on closed accounts and handoffs into program launch, physician training, and utilization growth
  • Identify potential key opinion leaders and centers of excellence for reference sites and speaker development
  • Support trade shows, regional conferences, and business development and educational activities
  • Develop and maintain clinical, technical, and business knowledge of histotripsy and the Edison System
  • Comply with regulatory and AdvaMed guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a Healthcare-related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales or clinical liaison experience
  • Preferably experience in medical device, capital equipment, or interventional/surgical oncology settings
  • Track record of meeting individual pipeline development or sales quotas
  • Demonstrated success prospecting and building relationships with physician and hospital administrative stakeholders
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements, including background check, drug screen, and certain immunizations
  • Must be insurable and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Willingness and ability to travel by automobile or air, including day trips and overnight stays, up to 75% of the time
  • Working knowledge of interventional radiology, hepatobiliary surgery, or oncology capital equipment sales processes is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with ASMs, ASD, AMs, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Results/action oriented with a drive to achieve and compete
  • Curiosity, initiative, and desire to drive continuous improvement
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; employer will not sponsor visas
