Job Description
Marketing Area Manager driving local presence for Watermill Express. Lead field marketing efforts, engaging communities and executing marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute local marketing plans and activations to drive awareness, trial, and repeat usage of Watermill Express
- Represent the brand in-market through events, grassroots marketing, and community engagement
- Ensure strong, consistent brand presence across all field activities
- Recruit, hire, train, and inspire a small team of Brand Ambassadors (BAs) in the market
- Schedule, manage, and oversee BA-led activations and events
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Ensure BAs are knowledgeable and deliver positive consumer experiences
- Plan and execute local events, brand activations, samplings, and community engagements
- Identify and engage with local organizations, businesses, and community groups
- Manage event schedules and coordinate staffing across all activations
- Maintain and manage marketing inventory
- Provide regular updates to the Field Marketing Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with field marketing
- Hands-on experience in field marketing, event execution, and local market activation, specifically within their local market
- Strong leadership & team management skills
- Verbal communication & interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with diverse customers and team members
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to operate a smart phone for timecard tracking
- Clean motor vehicle record and current valid driver license.
