Job Description
Marketing Associate producing and polishing AI-assisted SEO and thought-leadership content for First Page Sage, a B2B marketing agency. Publishing optimized articles and website copy through WordPress.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Project Manager to plan, draft, and produce marketing copy for blog posts, landing pages, articles, and website content
- Use AI tools to draft first-pass articles, then heavily edit, fact-check, and rewrite content
- Work directly with the CEO to research, draft, and refine original metrics-based articles
- Publish and format content on WordPress
- Perform basic CSS/HTML cleanup, image placement, internal linking, and on-page SEO
- Proofread and quality-check content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency
- Maintain editorial standards and brand voice
- Organize the content calendar and publishing workflow
- Identify opportunities to improve existing content, site structure, and publishing processes
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years of experience in marketing, content, copywriting, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Comfort using AI writing tools as part of the workflow
- Hands-on experience with WordPress
- Basic CSS/HTML familiarity
- Very high level of attention to detail
- Self-driven and able to manage workload with minimal hand-holding
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership, including the CEO
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple articles/projects
- Required fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Required to attend and participate in virtual meetings
- Required to type proficiently
- Required to maintain sufficient internet bandwidth for company applications and clear-video meetings
- Dedicated private and professional workspace, free from distractions and well-lit
- Environment conducive to productivity
- Consistent access to a computer, webcam, and microphone during working hours
- Full adherence to FPS Dress Code and Cyber Security SOP
