Job Description
Marketing Intern supporting digital marketing initiatives for Chinese-speaking audiences at The Intern Group. Gain hands-on experience while contributing to applicant engagement and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Join The Intern Group as a Marketing Intern and gain hands-on experience in digital marketing for an HR Ed-Tech company.
- Play an integral role within our Marketing team, helping to shape and execute our strategy for reaching and engaging Chinese-speaking audiences - particularly in mainland China.
- Contribute to increasing qualified applications, driving website traffic, and generating revenue.
- Serve as a creative content producer, crafting compelling and culturally relevant website copy and social media content.
- Continuously evaluate the performance of your content to optimize engagement and reach.
- Support the development and management of relationships with educational agencies across mainland China.
- Assist with outreach efforts, coordinating communications, and helping to maintain strong partnerships that expand recruitment pipeline.
- Receive mentorship from our Head of Marketing.
Requirements:
- Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written); Cantonese fluency is a plus but not essential.
- Fluent English language skills (spoken and written).
- Excellent written skills & attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge and experience using Chinese social media platforms including Xiaohongshu, WeChat, and Douyin.
- High levels of creativity and the ability to develop top-quality, engaging & inspirational content.
- Confident in front of a camera and filming trends.
- Basic understanding of content management systems (e.g. Hubspot) and data tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics) is a plus, but not required.
- Previous marketing, communications, or content creation experience is valuable but not essential.
