Job Description
Medical Sales Representative for Medline, selling clinical solutions to government markets in the US. Involves cold calling and developing business relationships with various decision makers.
Responsibilities:
- Calling on the non-acute care government market including emergency management, EMS, medical examiner offices, prisons, department of health, and board of commissioners offices
- Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers
- Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline's product catalog
- Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities
- Preparing bids and negotiating contracts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of quota-based sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience
- Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to drive a car and travel 80% of the time
