Job Description

Medical Sales Representative for Medline, selling clinical solutions to government markets in the US. Involves cold calling and developing business relationships with various decision makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Calling on the non-acute care government market including emergency management, EMS, medical examiner offices, prisons, department of health, and board of commissioners offices
  • Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers
  • Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline's product catalog
  • Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities
  • Preparing bids and negotiating contracts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of quota-based sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience
  • Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to drive a car and travel 80% of the time
