Job Description
Merchant Services Sales Consultant delivering customized payment processing and merchant technology solutions to business clients. Supporting Retail Banking teams to drive referrals and sales growth while maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver customized payment processing and merchant technology solutions to business clients
- Support and partner with Retail Banking teams within your assigned territory to drive referrals and sales
- Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities
- Recommend solutions that address client needs, operational efficiencies, and growth goals
- Exercise sound judgment while navigating policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to ensure exceptional client experiences
- Build strong relationships through effective presentations, needs assessments, and follow‑up
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Banking or financial services experience
- Business-to-business (B2B) sales background
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong prospecting, influence, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a structured, remote environment
- Strong organizational and CRM management skills
