Job Description

National Accounts Sales Manager responsible for executing sales strategy for kencko foodservice products. Overseeing customer relationships and brand representation in the foodservice market.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and target high leverage accounts Foodservice and Alternate (non-commercial) channels - including but not limited to restaurants, hotels/hospitality, universities, and offices.
  • Develop a strategic and operational sales plan to deliver budgeted sales and gross margin targets.
  • Collaborate with various teams to create and grow a key account portfolio, with an objective of delivering growth targets.
  • Communicate customer needs and market trends to key internal stakeholders.
  • Ongoing analysis, optimization and reporting of business performance, with a focus on conversion funnel, margin, and broker/distributor management.
  • Strengthen the brand through representation at trade shows and partnership events.
  • Potential to own the P&L for the Foodservice/Alternate Channel

Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales/business development, with hands-on experience across all aspects of the selling cycle, within foodservice wholesale distribution
  • Extensive experience managing and collaborating with foodservice brokers and distributors
  • Highly developed negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with a wide range of influence skills
  • Expert understanding of the foodservice industry with an emphasis on national accounts
  • Direct P&L responsibility
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and multi-task with relentless attention to detail
  • Must demonstrate strong ownership and ability to take initiatives in problem solving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset, manage multiple situations concurrently, and work independently

  • Ability to travel as needed
