Job Description
National sales manager leading IMMULITE clinical diagnostics sales for Siemens Healthineers. Driving market access, team performance, customer relationships, and market-share growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales and market access strategies aligned with Siemens’ business goals
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of hematology-focused sales professionals
- Achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned field
- Build and maintain relationships with lab personnel, healthcare providers, and industry opinion leaders
- Drive team performance, monitor goals, and ensure regional objectives are met
- Apply knowledge of Siemens clinical products, services, market trends, and competitive landscapes
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through close using Siemens’ CRM tool
- Execute demand-generation campaigns supporting key market segments
- Analyze internal and external data to provide market and customer insights
- Develop and deliver expert-level customer presentations on Siemens Healthineers assays, allergy, and plasma proteins
- Provide market and customer-segment insights to the Leadership Team
- Work with the Vice President to identify and investigate market-segment opportunities
- Track market opportunities and support programs to increase market share
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations, and Clinical/Scientific teams
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers, attend sales events, and participate in training
Requirements:
- Minimum of BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or medical health sciences (medical technology, biology, clinical chemistry, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience in commercial organization and sales/marketing, preferably clinical diagnostics
- Previous experience in sales management is required
- Acquired technical knowledge with the capability to organize and prioritize departmental personnel and tasks
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of assigned disease states, laboratory and competitive testing methodologies is beneficial
- Willingness to travel within the assigned geography; travel 60% of the time
- Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
