Job Description

Network Solutions Engineer designing and delivering advanced network solutions for mission-critical Federal environments. Collaborating with CTO office and digital accelerator for customer engagements and innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and optimize enterprise‑grade networks across multi‑vendor environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, and more)
  • Deliver technical briefings, solution demos, and customer‑facing presentations that translate complex architectures into mission value
  • Create authoritative architecture documents, diagrams, runbooks, and build guides for engineering and customer teams
  • Deploy and validate network solutions across lab and production environments, including copper and fiber physical infrastructure
  • Serve as an SME on proposals (RFIs/RFPs), contributing technical volumes, solution approaches, and cost‑informed recommendations
  • Integrate network monitoring and observability platforms (SolarWinds, PRTG, Elastic, etc.) into hybrid environments
  • Develop firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and perimeter architectures aligned to Federal cybersecurity and Zero Trust frameworks
  • Provide deep troubleshooting expertise including packet analysis, protocol diagnostics, and IPv4/IPv6 network assessment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 19+ years of progressive technical and leadership experience
  • 15+ years in enterprise network engineering, design, implementation, and customer‑facing technical leadership
  • Strong communication, analytical, and time‑management skills
  • Ability to design, present, and lead complex network solution initiatives in fast‑paced environments
  • US Citizenship required
  • Canididate must posses active secret, ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
  • 8 years or more of Expert‑level experience with Cisco routing/switching and Palo Alto firewalls (Preferred)
  • Advanced L2/L3 protocol mastery (OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6) (Preferred)
  • Experience designing networks across on‑prem, cloud (AWS/Azure), and hybrid architectures (Preferred)
  • Strong packet analysis skills (Wireshark) and ability to resolve multi‑layer issues (Preferred)
  • Hands‑on physical infrastructure experience with copper/fiber cabling (Preferred)
  • Experience integrating monitoring/observability tools into enterprise ecosystems (Preferred)
  • CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, JNCIE, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Network+ (Preferred)
