Job Description

Operations Manager overseeing mortgage servicing and collections at Deloitte. Responsible for managing operations, compliance, and performance in a remediation project for mortgages.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of mortgage servicing and collections functions
  • Manage end-to-end mortgage processes, including servicing, arrears management, and recoveries
  • Implement effective collections strategies across all stages of delinquency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk controls
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and portfolio performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage operational teams
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Finance to support reporting, audits, and operational resilience

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated history of working in the Financial Services industry
  • Skilled in commercial mortgages
  • Experience with collections & recovery strategies
  • Results-driven and data-driven mindset
  • Strong operations experience with customers in financial difficulties and vulnerability
