Job Description

Payroll Coordinator managing worker lifecycles, compliant payroll processing, billing, and payments for Safeguard Global’s international employer clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire employment lifecycle of each worker at Safeguard Global.
  • Manage daily queries and ensure seamless, efficient, and compliant payroll processing with internal/external providers.
  • Manage changes in employment contracts, including salary adjustments and provided benefits.
  • Maintain and store worker documentation throughout the employment lifecycle according to in-country compliance and record-keeping guidelines.
  • Serve as point of contact for worker, internal support team, ICP/ICE, and client queries.
  • Process compliant offboards for indefinite- and fixed-term workers, including voluntary and involuntary terminations.
  • Ensure requested background checks are completed.
  • Process accurate and timely payroll payments to workers.
  • Maintain knowledge of company payroll policies and governmental regulations.
  • Investigate and correct payroll reports and identify out-of-balance payroll.
  • Review and approve payroll reports against housed information and client input.
  • Maintain KPIs, internal reporting, payroll schedules, and master payroll input.
  • Work with clients to obtain and relay expert in-country requirements.
  • Manage payroll funding/billing, complete charging sheets, and generate sales invoices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Payroll, understanding processing, salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with payroll concepts and knowledge of local payroll legislation for supported countries would be beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical acumen.
  • Ability to identify, resolve, and mitigate issues.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
