Job Description

Payroll Specialist responsible for payroll tasks at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. Ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for carrying out payroll tasks for the company in accordance to company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Duties include historical edits, entering deduction adjustments, confirmation of data sets, creation of payroll reports, processing checks and direct deposit returns, processing final payouts, garnishments, and special projects.

Requirements:

  • A fire and passion for working with seniors
  • A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required
  • Superior computer skills required
  • Must possess strong personal organization and time management, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll application systems
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player
  • Prior experience in payroll in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
