Job Description

People Business Partner advising DoorDash Labs Engineering and Operations leaders. Shaping workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, and employee experience at DoorDash.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to leaders of DoorDash Labs Engineering and Operations teams
  • Partner with senior executives to translate business goals into people strategies and organizational design
  • Co-lead strategic workforce planning across both functions
  • Identify future capability needs and succession plans
  • Drive talent development programs for a globally distributed and hybrid workforce
  • Advise on sensitive employee relations, change management, and leadership effectiveness
  • Partner with People Centers of Excellence on enterprise-wide initiatives with local relevance
  • Use people data to influence decisions, drive accountability, and create action plans
  • Support M&A integration and change management efforts
  • Promote inclusion, innovation, and resilience through coaching and leadership enablement
  • Collaborate through weekly team syncs, Slack communication, flexible core collaboration hours, virtual coffee chats, and team offsites
  • Support leadership partnership, employee engagement, talent planning, succession readiness, organizational health assessments, and performance and compensation cycles

Requirements:

  • 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a business partner role supporting corporate functions
  • Global HR experience, particularly in multi-region organizations with a distributed workforce
  • Proven track record of advising senior leaders and managing complexity at scale
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Experience using HRIS; Workday preferred
  • Experience with people analytics
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience driving programs from ideation through execution
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Practical experience managing, supporting, or scaling people operations for large, hourly workforces
  • Experience in a fast-paced or logistics-heavy environment ideally preferred
  • Advanced degree or certification in HR or Organizational Psychology is a plus
