Job Description
VinSolutions client performance manager retaining dealership clients and increasing product adoption for Cox Automotive. Managing regional accounts across Georgia, Alabama, and Florida through remote and onsite engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with external clients and make client needs central to priorities, decisions, and activities
- Own client relationships on behalf of the company and advocate for client needs internally
- Protect revenue, retain clients, drive product utilization, and identify opportunities for additional products and accounts
- Expand and upsell product functionality to increase revenue growth across the client base
- Collaborate with other Performance Managers to provide seamless experiences for clients with multiple products
- Independently manage the progress and results of assigned accounts
- Engage clients through onsite visits and virtual screen-share sessions to increase product utilization and improve business processes
- Develop relationships with dealership staff at all levels
- Identify at-risk clients and create action plans to retain relationships
- Identify barriers and core problems preventing clients from meeting business objectives
- Apply problem-solving and strategic insight to accomplish client goals
- Guide clients in leveraging product capabilities to meet business objectives
- Monitor and analyze account performance and trends, adjusting dealer expectations and objectives
- Monitor client system red flags and emergencies and take immediate action
- Improve processes and systems through conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation during client engagements
- Maintain knowledge of product releases and enhancements
- Travel for in-market, overnight, and occasional weekend client engagements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field, or an alternative combination of master's degree and 2 years' experience, Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 8 years' experience in a related field
- Valid driver's license required
- Safe driving record/ability to drive safely
- At least 3 years’ recent retail automotive experience preferred
- Experience as a General Manager, General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, BDC Manager, or similar preferred
- Proven ability to influence change inside a dealership
- Direct experience desking deals in a retail automotive environment
- Working knowledge and experience in retail automotive
- Broad capabilities through software utilization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, screen-share technologies, and relevant software systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels at an automotive dealership or dealer group
- Ability to retain audience engagement when communicating
- Exceptional listening skills and ability to detect problems and risks remotely
- Ability to ask open-ended questions that provoke thoughtful disruption
- Ability to work remotely and nearly autonomously under moderate supervision
- Ability to follow departmental standard practices and procedures
- Desire to work collaboratively through remote technologies
- Ability and eagerness to learn complex technology
- Basic understanding of web-based systems
- Ability to travel potentially up to 50%, including in-market, overnight, and occasional weekend travel
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in future
