Job Description
Resource Manager coordinating CGI and creative production talent for Marks, a global consumer experience agency. Forecasting studio capacity, bookings, freelance resources, and delivery risks.
Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of weekly resource planning processes across a global team
- Centralize, forecast, organize, and allocate resource requests from the production team
- Identify skills and maximize availability and utilization for in-house CGI artists, retouchers, finishing artists, photographers, video editors, and animators
- Pencil studio resource requests from producers as far in advance as possible
- Confirm studio resource bookings with discipline leads weekly in advance
- Work with the Resource Manager to identify risks before they impact delivery
- Forecast, source, onboard, and book freelance resources to meet fluctuating demand
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant resource reports to business and studio leadership
- Monitor timesheets, holidays, and absences using existing Marks platforms
- Manage and maintain strong freelance relationships and a freelance network
- Build and maintain relationships with creative and production disciplines
- Prioritize resource conflicts and escalate proposed solutions
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of cloud-based tools like Excel, Keynote, Outlook, Mac, Flow, Crew Planning and Workfront
- Experience in a CGI-led studio environment (preferred)
- Interest or knowledge of resource management tools and systems (nice to have)
- Experience working in a fast-paced creative environment
- Experience working efficiently and autonomously in a multi-discipline production studio
- Ability to manage resource planning, reporting, monitoring, freelance networking, relationship management, and problem solving
