Job Description
Personal Care Aide providing compassionate in-home support for ComForCare Home Health Care clients. Assisting with daily living, meals, mobility, health monitoring, and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, catheter emptying, grooming, and other daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare and plan meals according to dietary needs
- Monitor and record clients’ health and report changes to healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments and activities
- Maintain a clean and safe client environment
- Follow care plans and protect client confidentiality and dignity
- Communicate with clients, families, and team members
- Provide compassionate in-home care as a Personal Care Aide for ComForCare Home Health Care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in caregiving preferred
- Prior experience in personal care or home health care is a plus
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
