Job Description
Backend Developer responsible for developing complex backend solutions for Grupo Boticário, focusing on performance and maintainability. Collaborate with teams to optimize and ensure stability.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Excellence: Develop complex backend solutions, prioritizing performance, simplicity, and maintainability.
- Mentoring and Quality: Ensure technical rigor through constructive code reviews and the dissemination of design patterns and best practices.
- Architecture: Design structural improvements aligned with the product vision, assisting the team in the technical design of solutions.
- Observability: Monitor application performance and use data to anticipate failures and optimize stability.
- Incident Leadership: Lead crisis resolution and oversee the creation of post-mortems to turn mistakes into continuous learning.
- Strategic Refinement: Break down complex scopes into incremental deliveries that consistently generate business value.
- Security (Security-first): Proactively identify vulnerabilities and apply secure development standards (OWASP).
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate risks, costs, and blockers transparently, managing business partners' expectations.
Requirements:
- Mastery of PHP 7.4+ & Frameworks: Advanced experience with the Laravel/Lumen ecosystem and, crucially, hands-on experience with high-performance frameworks such as Swoole and Hyperf.
- Architecture and Design: Deep knowledge of Design Patterns and architectural principles for building scalable, maintainable systems.
- Data and Performance: Solid experience with databases (relational and NoSQL), with a strong focus on modeling and query optimization.
- Code Quality: Practical experience with unit and integration tests, using coverage metrics to guide continuous quality improvement.
- Observability: Experience supporting real-time systems using tools like New Relic, Grafana, Opsgenie, or DataDog.
- Cloud & DevOps Ecosystem: Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and cloud services such as AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and S3.
- Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex technical topics for different audiences and collaborate strategically with stakeholders.
- Autonomy and Proactivity: Ability to make well-founded technical decisions and the agility to identify and resolve blockers that impact the team.
