Job Description
Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant at Eversight transforming CPG brands' category strategies with AI-driven consumer insights. Driving presales excellence and developing tailored value propositions for CPG prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Drive presales excellence while providing honest strategic counsel for prospects and internal partners
- Partner with Sales AEs to develop comprehensive presales strategies for CPG brand prospects
- Lead discovery sessions with key stakeholders analyzing business requirements and building relationships across prospect organizations
- Customize product demonstrations based on prospect-specific needs and develop tailored value propositions
- Build preliminary business cases demonstrating ROI through improved promotional efficiency and presenting findings clearly
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to training materials and knowledge management systems
- Act as Voice of the Customer by synthesizing prospect feedback patterns and contributing insights to Product team discussions
- Represent Eversight at CPG-focused industry engagements including attending conferences
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience with significant exposure to SaaS pre-sales activities
- Strong knowledge of the CPG vertical including a deep understanding of Category Management, Brand Performance Analytics, Trade Promotion Management, Consumer Insights, Market Share Analysis, and Revenue Growth Management
- Experience with or strong understanding of syndicated data platforms (Nielsen, IRI, Circana) and how CPG brands use data for decision-making
- Expertise in solution storytelling—translating technical functionality into persuasive business narratives that resonate with CPG brand priorities like market share growth, promotional impact, and competitive intelligence
- Proven presentation and persuasion capabilities with the ability to control an audience, convey complex concepts clearly, and overcome objections particularly around data quality, sample size, and methodology questions common in CPG analytics
- Experience in creating or developing business processes and strategies in a dynamic environment
- Trusted advisor mindset: Balancing honesty and advocacy — telling customers what they need to hear, not just what they want
- Demonstrated ability to lead consultative discovery processes and extract key insights from diverse stakeholders across CPG organizational functions (Insights, Marketing, Sales, Category Management, RGM)
- Ability to travel up to 35%
