Job Description
Product Manager enhancing Pricing/Valuation products at JD Power. Collaborating across teams to optimize product offerings and improve customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Support product issue triage by assessing severity, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating with engineering and data science teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage and prioritize new product ideas by evaluating business impact, technical feasibility, and alignment with product strategy.
- Scope product enhancements and create clear requirements for new features and improvements.
- Maintain product roadmaps, ensuring visibility into timelines, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Synthesize customer feedback and usage insights to inform product decisions and advocate for user needs.
- Support go to market planning, ensuring teams are equipped with the context, messaging, and materials needed for successful launches.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or related field required (MBA preferred).
- Strong background or familiarity with the automotive industry is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in SaaS product management or product ownership, including managing backlogs, defining requirements, and partnering with technical teams.
- High proficiency with Excel and comfort working with large or complex datasets as well as PowerPoint proficiency.
- Experience with Tableau, BI tools, and/or SQL is preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly absorb information, structure ambiguous challenges, and drive clarity.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, data science, customer success, and commercial teams.
