Job Description
Product Marketing Manager championing Lightspeed Golf, a commerce platform for golf businesses. Driving launches, adoption, sales enablement, and customer lifetime value.
Responsibilities:
- Co-own positioning and messaging for Lightspeed Golf, including operator and golfer value propositions
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for launches, feature enhancements, migrations, and major announcements
- Build launch plans connecting product strategy to campaigns, sales enablement, customer communications, and post-launch adoption
- Partner with Product to identify customer pain points, improve the golf operator journey, and influence product priorities
- Develop customer adoption, activation, cross-sell, and expansion programs
- Drive payments attach and adoption of revenue-generating products and services
- Establish feedback loops with Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Partnerships
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research
- Develop and maintain Golf ICP, persona, segmentation, and customer journey insights
- Monitor competitors and translate intelligence into positioning, sales guidance, and strategic recommendations
- Create pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers, demo tools, launch packs, training, and other sales materials
- Collaborate on campaigns and content that create awareness, demand, education, and advocacy
- Act as a product and industry subject matter expert
- Measure and communicate launch and program impact across adoption, pipeline, conversion, attach rate, MRR, retention, and customer lifetime value
- Establish and improve repeatable product marketing processes for the Golf business
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a comparable go-to-market role, ideally in B2B or B2B2C SaaS
- Experience developing positioning, messaging, launch plans, sales enablement, and customer marketing programs
- Strong project management skills and ability to independently lead work from strategy through execution
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, or Partnerships teams
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer benefits
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, prioritizing competing requests, and building structure where processes are developing
- Proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style
- Curiosity about customer needs and a growth mindset
- Experience in golf, sports, hospitality, retail, fintech, or B2B SaaS is an advantage
- Understanding of golf course operator business operations is an advantage
- Experience marketing products to business operators and end consumers is an advantage
- Experience with product adoption, customer marketing, expansion, or retention programs is an advantage
- Interest in or passion for golf, sports, or technology is an advantage
- Experience with account-based marketing, trade events, industry associations, or partner marketing is an advantage
- MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification is an advantage
