Job Description
Product Operations Intern supporting financial data and operations at R2, enhancing workflows through collaboration and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to clients through different channels.
- Assist in the daily operational processes that connect Product, Finance, and Operations and comply with SLA.
- Support data validation and reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy across systems.
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Help build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key business and operational metrics.
- Contribute to the implementation of new product features from an operational and financial perspective.
- Participate in testing and validating new tools or processes before rollout.
- Support the creation and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Help identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to enhance our internal operations.
Requirements:
- Student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role at a tech, fintech, or financial institution.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial operations, and data management.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious and proactive — you enjoy learning new tools, understanding how things work, and improving them.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
