Job Description

Proposal Manager preparing accurate clinical-trial quotations and budgets for LabConnect. Coordinating vendors, proposals, CRM updates, and cross-functional submissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage individual study quotation preparation processes and timelines to deliver efficient, high-quality, accurate, and timely submissions
  • Prepare quotations using the company’s pricing tools
  • Obtain third-party vendor quotes from partner companies
  • Participate in strategy calls and budget review calls as needed
  • Assist in recommending desirable proposals based on established financial and operational criteria
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve quotation submission quality and timeliness
  • Follow up with Business Development Directors to ensure proposals are complete and meet customer needs
  • Assist with preparing Business Development presentations when requested
  • Update the CRM database and ensure departmental information is accurate
  • Act as an expert resource for internal and external customers
  • Participate in Proposal Management initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Communicate via phone, video, and email
  • Use a computer and office equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, business, or marketing related discipline
  • 3–5 years customer service or related experience
  • Experience in a contract research and/or research setting preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a substitute for the specific education and experience listed
  • Ability to perform calculations and manage budgets
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to budget management for clinical trials
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and clinical research protocols
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from colleagues and clients
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with varied situations with limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint
  • Aptitude for learning new database software quickly
  • Salesforce and SharePoint experience preferred
