Job Description
Proposal Manager leading complex aerospace and defense bids for Frontgrade’s mission-critical electronics. Shaping capture strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams, and improving proposal win probability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple major proposal efforts simultaneously, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery for high-complexity or strategic opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Senior Leadership to guide bid/no-bid decisions, develop win themes, and shape solution positioning
- Direct cross-functional proposal teams, providing coaching, structure, and clarity on proposal requirements, compliance standards, and stakeholder responsibilities
- Lead executive reviews and approval processes, presenting strategic rationale, risks, pricing considerations, and recommendations for proposal submission
- Evaluate and improve proposal processes, incorporating lessons learned, best practices, and industry standards to raise organizational proposal maturity
- Communicate complex technical and commercial strategies clearly and succinctly to senior stakeholders, customers, and internal decision-makers
- Develop talent within the proposal function, mentoring staff, building capability, and guiding team performance to support organizational growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Engineering
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in people management and minimum ten (10) years of experience in the field; OR Master's Degree with minimum eight (8) years of experience in people management and minimum ten (10) years of experience in the field
- May need to obtain U.S. Government export license(s) as required by ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws
