Job Description
Provider Contract Manager responsible for negotiating contracts with healthcare providers. Leading strategic initiatives to enhance provider relationships and drive value-based programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic provider partnerships to negotiate mutually beneficial contracts
- Accountable for executing contract negotiations and driving provider network strategy
- Implement innovative reimbursement models, including value-based programs and risk arrangements
- Ensure contracts align with regulatory, financial, and operational requirements
- Present proposals for internal approval
- Collaborate across internal teams, supports performance programs and align business processes with contract strategy and execution
Requirements:
- 8 years related work experience
- 5 years including direct payer/provider negotiation experience
- 2 years operational experience with value-based programs preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, healthcare management, clinical/medical science, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Possession of valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel frequently within the service area
