Job Description

Regional Account Manager role within Fortinet, focused on State, Local Government and Education segments in Texas. Responsible for driving sales and building revenue pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed all assigned quotas and targets.
  • Identify new opportunities and grow existing opportunities through face-to-face meetings.
  • Participate in team activities for enablement and sales efforts.
  • Create and track sales opportunities in Salesforce.com.
  • Address customer satisfaction issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive sales cycles to close and establish relationships.
  • Collaborate with local Channel Account Manager and partners.
  • Follow up on inbound and outbound prospecting activities.
  • Lead customer presentations and demos.
  • Perform ongoing analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1+ years of field sales experience in the B2B technology space.
  • Working knowledge of businesses and procurement processes in the SLED sector.
  • Ability to run productive customer-facing meetings.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Understand the sales cycle and business processes.
  • Self-driven and able to manage a high-volume workload.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Organizational skills with effective time management.
