Job Description

Sr. Federal Markets Account Manager driving business development strategies in federal healthcare sectors. Collaborating with diverse teams to develop compliant proposals and facilitate federal opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving federal healthcare business development by owning account‑centric growth strategies and cultivating executive relationships across DoD, VA, IHS, CMS, and civilian health agencies
  • Leading capture management for a high volume of federal opportunities, shaping pipeline strategy, win themes, teaming decisions, and bid/no‑bid recommendations
  • Owning federal proposal strategy and authorship, serving as a principal writer for ROMs, RFIs, RFPs, and sole source submissions
  • Partnering cross‑functionally with sales, technical, clinical, operations, and pricing teams to deliver compliant proposals that convert to awarded work
  • Analyzing market trends, customer priorities, and competitor activity to inform federal pipeline development and proposal investment decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university
  • 6 years of experience in operations in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 10 years of experience in operations in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Working at a level of proficiency with Microsoft suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with briefing Executive Level/General Officer personnel, compiling briefings and status reports
  • Must be able to pass a government background check for a position of Public Trust
