Job Description
Regional Field Service Manager overseeing dental equipment installation, repair, and technicians. Supporting Benco Dental, a full-service U.S. dental distributor, across the Richmond region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of dental, radiography, and associated equipment for regional customers
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and company requirements
- Ensure functions are completed on time and within budget
- Assist, coach, evaluate, and improve regional service and installation technicians’ performance
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve regional labor sales goals
- Ensure Service Technicians follow time and attendance reporting requirements
- Ensure technician PTO reflects assigned work
- Hold Service Technicians accountable for their responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct regularly scheduled meetings with regional personnel
- Ensure high customer service satisfaction rates
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Business or BioMed Technology
- 5 years’ experience in a service industry
- Previous management experience
- Exceptional time management
- Professional and positive attitude
- Computer and networking experience
- Exceptional customer service, planning, and problem-solving
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills while presenting and negotiating
- Field repair in a dental/medical environment
- Ability to routinely walk, bend, kneel, squat, sit, stand, reach, and twist
- Ability to frequently lift/lower/carry/push/pull 1 to 55 pounds and occasionally 56 to 100 pounds
- Routine pushing, pulling, grasping, and manual dexterity using hands, arms, and shoulders
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Frequent daily travel to customer sites
- Occasional use of power tools
