Job Description
Regional Sales Manager overseeing a team and driving sales growth as a strategic partner for retailers. Based in Atlanta managing relationships while developing leadership within the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through exceptional service and consultative selling
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers, providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance support
- Execute regional sales plans and team goals aligned with company objectives
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities and optimize territory coverage
- Monitor performance, analyze sales trends, and contribute to forecasting and reporting
- Support planning and execution of regional sales meetings and key trade show events
- Represent Harper Group and our brands at industry trade shows and customer meetings
- Perform additional duties as needed to support a dynamic, growth-focused sales organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–4 years of sales management or team-lead experience in a client-focused, fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to coach and manage a geographically dispersed sales team
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, brand partners, and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth and delivering excellent customer experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a changing environment
- Comfortable with sales and productivity tools such as Office365, Asana, and MarketTime (or eager to learn)
