Job Description
Research Project Manager responsible for managing clinical trial initiatives at CVAUSA. Leading project management for cardiovascular clinical research in a growing national network.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management leadership for both straightforward initiatives and complex, cross-functional research initiatives within Cardiovascular Research Solutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for initiatives spanning trial startup, site onboarding, vendor implementation, and strategic research programs.
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies; proactively identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Support coordination across research leadership, operations, legal, finance, and external partners to ensure aligned execution.
- Assist with planning and execution of new vendor partnerships and technology implementations that support research operations.
- Organize and support research-related meetings, including sponsor meetings, internal planning sessions, weekly team meetings, and conferences.
- Manage calendars, agendas, meeting materials, action items, and follow-up communications.
- Prepare project updates, summaries, and materials for research leadership and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to initiatives designed to scale Cardiovascular Research Solutions as the network continues to grow.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5+ years of experience in project management within a multisite clinical research network, CRO, sponsor, or academic research organization.
- Solid understanding of late-stage (Phase II–IV) clinical trial organization and startup processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, communication, PowerPoint, and problem-solving skills.
- Adept at using project management software platforms such as Monday.com, Wrike, or similar tools.
- Experience in cardiovascular clinical research.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
