Job Description

Deal Management Director structuring and drafting sales transactions at Splunk. Responsible for ensuring transactional health and adherence to company guardrails.

Responsibilities:

  • Structure and draft sales transactions with a lens towards transactional health and company guardrails
  • Draft Order Documents and support sales in customer facing negotiations
  • Be an expert on Splunk buying programs and metrics
  • Facilitate Strategic Deals
  • Assist and drive conversations, help to coordinate related parties, next steps, gaps, escalations
  • Manage Order Doc process from end to end, negotiate directly with customers, facilitate internal back-end partners, draft key business language and adhere to internal systems and processes
  • Provide sales training and enablement of deal structure, programs, related pricing and be the trusted partner and advisor to sales leadership

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of strategic deal management and/or related experience supporting sales
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Extremely articulate with demonstrated ability to interface, influence, and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in sales, financial planning and analysis or sales operations analysis preferred; MBA a plus
