Job Description
Sales Development Manager building qualified pipelines for Wals Pro’s weclapp and e-commerce automation solutions. Conducting discovery, demos, lead qualification, and social selling across Germany and Austria.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research suitable target customers in the DACH region
- Build a relevant network on LinkedIn
- Generate new contacts through social selling and targeted, GDPR-compliant outreach
- Conduct initial conversations, discovery calls, and product demos focused on weclapp and its plugins
- Qualify leads and hand them over to the executive team
- Prepare proposals, materials, and conversation briefs
- Manage the sales pipeline and CRM, including follow-ups, lead nurturing, and reliable forecasting
- Work closely with the marketing team, providing insights from sales conversations and supporting campaigns, content, and lead generation
- Share market feedback with the product team and executive management
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in pre-sales, sales development, business development, or inside sales—ideally in an IT, SaaS, or e-commerce environment
- Initial knowledge of weclapp; hands-on familiarity with the software and the ability to demonstrate it credibly
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, including shop processes, ordering, warehousing/shipping, and common tools
- Proven experience with LinkedIn Sales/Social Selling and modern, GDPR-compliant prospecting methods
- Excellent communication skills and a structured, self-directed, and remote-ready approach to work
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Residence and employment in Austria or Germany
- Special, demonstrable experience with the Swiss market is a nice-to-have
- Knowledge of ERP processes (Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, master data) is a nice-to-have
- Experience with CRM tools, marketing automation, and content creation is a nice-to-have
- Familiarity with the e-commerce stack (Shopify, marketplaces, carriers such as DPD, Sendcloud, and Shipcloud) is a nice-to-have
- Experience with automation (n8n) or AI-powered sales/marketing is a nice-to-have
Benefits:
- Fully remote in Germany/Austria—no requirement to work on-site. Work wherever you are most productive.
- Part-time or full-time—from 30 to 38.5 hours per week, designed to fit your life, not the other way around.
- Clear division of responsibilities—you focus on sales preparation and qualification, while the executive team handles closing, supported by an experienced marketing team
- Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes: direct access to executive management—open, honest, and free from corporate politics
- Modern equipment: Apple MacBook and everything you need for productive remote work
- Growth market and technical focus: weclapp + e-commerce + hyperautomation (n8n, MCP, generative AI)—new use cases instead of routine
- Willingness to offer above-market compensation depending on qualifications and experience
