Job Description

Outbound SDR generating and qualifying leads for Remote, a global employment and HR platform. Booking Account Executive meetings across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond, engage, and qualify outbound leads and inquiries
  • Source new sales prospects and reach out to book appointments for Account Executives
  • Clearly communicate Remote's value propositions and understand prospect needs
  • Provide support to the Account Executive team as needed
  • Educate and develop prospects, leading to hand-off to sales teams
  • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts
  • Cold call prospects generated by various outside sources
  • Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle
  • Report to the Manager, Outbound Sales Development

Requirements:

  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools (Knowledge of Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chorus is a plus)
  • Experience working as an SDR in a B2B SaaS Tech company
  • Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and listening skills
  • Strategic and tactical thinking
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure
  • Strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
  • Self-starter, proactive, and able to bring new ideas to the team
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • Demonstrated success in the listed key responsibility areas
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency
  • Prior remote-work experience is not required; considered a plus
