Job Description
Sales Executive for Moodle driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth in the US. Engaging organizations to envision how Moodle can support their learning goals.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and qualifying new leads through outbound outreach and inbound inquiries
- Managing a pipeline of net-new opportunities from discovery to close
- Leading discovery conversations to understand organizational goals, challenges, and use cases
- Positioning and demonstrating Moodle solutions in collaboration with Solutions Consultants
- Developing tailored proposals and leading contract and pricing discussions
- Collaborating with Marketing on campaigns, events, trade shows, and conferences to generate demand
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (Support, DevOps, Learning Designers) to ensure a smooth handoff post-sale
- Accurately forecasting pipeline and maintaining opportunity records in Salesforce
- Using tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Slack, and Google Workspace
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and revenue generation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to think strategically about client long-term goals
- Confidence working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in Higher Education, EdTech, or SaaS (nice-to-have!)
- Initiative, independence, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset
