Job Description

Sales Specialist focused on promoting RNAscope and related technologies for Bio-Techne. Engaging with clients in the DACH region, driving adoption and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell RNAscope and related ISH technologies from Bio-Techne and Lunaphore
  • Drive customer adoption across manual workflows and automated systems
  • Consult with and support researchers and scientists to identify relevant applications and use cases
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
  • Partner closely with local Account Executives to support territory growth and revenue targets
  • Develop and implement strategies to support customers through internal and 3rd-party research service options
  • Leverage customer feedback and market data to refine business development approaches
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and commit to ongoing commercial training
  • Travel up to 50% to visit customers, attend conferences, and support product demonstrations

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Life Sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field)
  • Hands-on experience with in situ hybridization (ISH) and/or fluorescent imaging workflows
  • Familiarity with automated platforms (e.g., COMET, BOND RX, Ventana) or similar imaging systems
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Based in Germany, with ability and willingness to travel regularly
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for scientific consulting
  • Willing to learn and apply commercial tools such as CRM systems
