Job Description
Sales Specialist for Western & Cellular Analysis instruments in the Philadelphia area. Develop and execute strategic sales plans while supporting customers throughout the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales of Simple Western and Cellular Analysis instruments within assigned territory
- Develop and execute strategic plans for sales portfolio
- Support customers throughout the territory
- Work closely with the full Commercial Team for coordinated customer approach
- Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accounts
- Provide accurate sales forecasts for Immunoassay Product Lines
- Manage active leads, customers, and opportunities using SalesForce.com
- Ensure customer understanding of products’ value proposition
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in a science related field required
- 5+ years of sales experience in the Life Science tools space
- 2+ years selling in related market and space
- High value capital equipment sales experience
- Understanding of customer workflows and applications in pharmaceutical drugs and biologics
- Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
- Proficiency in executing value-based sales techniques
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
