Job Description

Sales Specialist for Western & Cellular Analysis instruments in the Philadelphia area. Develop and execute strategic sales plans while supporting customers throughout the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales of Simple Western and Cellular Analysis instruments within assigned territory
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for sales portfolio
  • Support customers throughout the territory
  • Work closely with the full Commercial Team for coordinated customer approach
  • Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accounts
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts for Immunoassay Product Lines
  • Manage active leads, customers, and opportunities using SalesForce.com
  • Ensure customer understanding of products’ value proposition

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in a science related field required
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the Life Science tools space
  • 2+ years selling in related market and space
  • High value capital equipment sales experience
  • Understanding of customer workflows and applications in pharmaceutical drugs and biologics
  • Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Proficiency in executing value-based sales techniques
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
