Job Description

Sr. Director, Technical Pre-Sales leading a team at FICO to improve business performance with analytics solutions. Engage directly on high-value opportunities and coach pre-sales consultants through the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach pre-sales consultants on opportunity qualification and deal strategy
  • Engage directly on high-value opportunities for solution positioning
  • Model and coach the team on conducting thorough discovery sessions
  • Oversee the design and delivery of customized product demonstrations
  • Lead best practice workshops and contribute to industry conferences
  • Serve as a liaison between pre-sales, product, and sales leadership

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leading pre-sales or technical sales teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years in a Sales Engineering or Technical Pre-Sales role
  • Exceptional ability to engage executive stakeholders
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodology
  • Ability to travel 25–50% for client engagements
