Job Description
Field Sales Representative driving Google Cloud sales for Woolpert, a global architecture, engineering, and geospatial services company. Generating leads, closing enterprise cloud deals, and managing North American client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and close Google Cloud business across North America.
- Report to the Field Sales Manager.
- Present complex technology clearly to non-technical prospects.
- Conduct high-volume market research and prospect across various information channels, with extensive follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Google sales team and Woolpert Marketing Communications department.
- Build strategic relationships with the Google Cloud team, C-level executives, and key business leaders.
- Develop Google Cloud opportunities within the existing client base and through cold prospecting.
- Connect with prospects via phone, email, conferences, and events.
- Host face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to identify needs and use cases.
- Collaborate with the Woolpert Cloud engineering team to identify use cases, support customer technical needs, and build future solutions.
- Work with sales and marketing to plan events, campaigns, repeatable solutions, and target prospects and customers.
- Meet and exceed the annual $2M quota.
- Travel up to 25% of the year as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years’ experience in technical sales and lead generation in enterprise cloud technology solutions, with a demonstrated track record in reaching and exceeding goals.
- Ability to lead a complex sales cycle through all stages, including prospecting via email, calls, and conferences/events, qualification, proposal and SOW development, and contract negotiations.
- Strong technical proficiency is required.
- Experience selling into the retail or transportation and logistics industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support the goal.
