Job Description

Senior Manager/Associate Director in charge of strategy and operations at Natera's Therapeutics & Innovations. Driving cross-functional alignment and execution in precision medicine missions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support leadership in coordinating across R&D, Product, Medical Affairs, and Commercial by tracking key initiatives, maintaining alignment, and ensuring follow-through across workstreams.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities in AI, genomics, and therapeutics to inform internal decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain operating rhythms, including tracking priorities, managing deliverables, and providing visibility into progress across the team.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including internal planning, external opportunities, and leadership-driven special projects.
  • Support conference and stakeholder engagements through material development, coordination, and follow-up, while capturing key insights to inform internal strategy.
  • Support partnership efforts through coordination, materials preparation, internal alignment, and tracking of next steps across stakeholders.
  • Step into high-priority or ambiguous problems and provide structured thinking, analysis, and execution support as needed.
  • Ensure clear communication, alignment, and follow-through across teams by connecting stakeholders and tracking key actions.

Requirements:

  • 4–7+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, business development, or related roles within life sciences, healthcare, or technology.
  • Experience supporting partnership, strategy, or cross-functional initiatives, with exposure to external collaborations, or strategic planning.
  • Scientific understanding of oncology, immunology, or related therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML in life sciences and its application to discovery and clinical development.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive follow-through across stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to break down ambiguous problems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, or equivalent) preferred; strong scientific literacy required.
