Job Description
Senior Manager building AutoVitals’ content strategy, SEO library, and editorial function. Driving qualified leads for SaaS products serving auto repair shops.
Responsibilities:
- Own the content strategy for AutoVitals and the editorial calendar
- Build a segmented content library by shop size, shop type, and buyer role
- Design content journeys that move readers toward sales conversations
- Write, edit, produce, and publish articles, guides, website copy, email, video scripts, and product-supporting material
- Audit, retire, and rebuild existing content
- Create customer stories and case studies
- Write SEO content using keyword targeting, on-page optimization, content structure, and internal linking
- Own ongoing AutoVitals website content updates and new pages
- Track and report rankings, traffic, engagement depth, and qualified-lead conversion
- Translate product marketing positioning into content and feature-adoption materials
- Create demand-generation copy for ads, landing pages, email sequences, webinars, and events
- Gather material from sales, training, and shop success teams
- Set voice, quality, briefing, and acceptance standards with brand and external contributors
- Build repeatable content processes and operating cadence across product marketing, demand generation, and brand
- Hire, onboard, and develop content marketers
Requirements:
- 6+ years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS or technology company
- Experience conducting market discovery through customer, prospect, and win and loss interviews, then translating those insights into validated market problems, buyer personas, positioning, and go-to-market decisions
- Experience managing or developing product marketers and building the process, standards, and playbooks a function runs on, not only doing the work yourself
- Track record owning product launches end to end, from positioning through sales readiness and results
- Strong writer and clear communicator who can take a technical product and say plainly what it does and who it is for, across all levels of an organization
- Experience building competitive intelligence from scratch, including research, battlecards, and win and loss analysis
- Experience segmenting a market and building differentiated messaging by segment and by buyer role
- Comfortable working directly with sales reps, sitting in on calls, and building what they will actually use
- Data-literate, able to connect messaging and launch work to pipeline and bookings
- Comfortable building from scratch in a fast-moving environment where not everything is defined yet
- Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance certification (bonus)
- Experience taking a multi-product platform to market (bonus)
- Experience marketing to small and medium-sized businesses, particularly in automotive, home services, or a similar vertical (bonus)
- Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot (bonus)
- Background or knowledge of the automotive repair industry (bonus)
