Job Description
Content Creation Consultant developing MSF Access 101 e-learning and educational materials. Translating complex health-access content into accessible resources for MSF’s global humanitarian movement.
Responsibilities:
- Translate the recommended course syllabus into a detailed content plan and table of contents for the Access 101 Tembo course and accompanying learning materials
- Advise on the appropriate mix of learning formats, including e-learning content, case studies, infographics, downloadable resources, videos, and workshop materials
- Develop a content production plan and timeline, including content validation processes and user-testing recommendations
- Develop engaging, accessible, and learner-centred content for the Access 101 Tembo course and supporting educational materials
- Coordinate and quality-assure contributions from external suppliers, agencies, or specialist consultants
- Present draft content, content plans, and recommendations to the project team and stakeholders
- Incorporate feedback from subject-matter experts and stakeholders into successive content drafts
- Ensure content is accurate, relevant, aligned with project objectives, adapted for diverse MSF audiences, and consistent with adult learning and accessibility principles
- Deliver the course design package, draft and final Tembo course content, supporting educational materials, and final handover package
Requirements:
- A degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Journalism, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience developing engaging learning materials for diverse audiences, including e-learning courses, training resources, educational publications, or digital learning content
- Strong writing, editing, and content structuring skills
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible, and engaging learning materials
- Experience working with subject-matter experts and incorporating stakeholder feedback into content development processes
- Experience coordinating external suppliers or contributors involved in content production is an asset
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Knowledge of French, Spanish, Arabic, or Portuguese is an asset
- Experience in humanitarian, global health, international development, or non-profit environments is an asset
- Candidate must have rights to work as a “Consultant” in their country of residence
