Job Description

SAP S/4HANA-MES integrations leader advancing RTX’s aerospace and defense ERP transformation. Designing interfaces, data flows, testing, and implementation across Plan to Sustain processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support successful delivery through blueprint, build, testing, cutover, and hypercare phases of the OneRTX S/4HANA transformation program
  • Lead documentation of requirements specifications, testing, and implementation for SAP-MES master data and transactional processes
  • Collaborate with business members and consultants on SAP-MES interfacing, process harmonization, interface logic, data mapping, and transformation rules
  • Design and implement S/4HANA solutions supporting Plan to Sustain processes
  • Facilitate end-to-end integration process mapping between S/4HANA, MES, and boundary systems
  • Lead requirements gathering, data mappings, configuration, build, and testing for SAP PI, BTP Integration Suite, and other integration technologies
  • Serve as liaison across cross-functional teams during build, test, cutover, implementation, and hypercare
  • Coordinate activities across Digital Technology, business units, corporate teams, system integrators, and PMO teams
  • Create and maintain configuration design documents, functional specifications, technical specifications, and test plans
  • Assist data and process teams with data mapping and testing
  • Partner with solution architects to define APIs, IDocs, events, triggers, and reliable auditable data flows
  • Plan and execute unit, integration, user acceptance, and pilot testing strategies
  • Support migration from legacy systems, go-live, and ongoing business financial and operational performance
  • Ensure future success across Plan to Sustain functional areas
  • Travel up to 25% or as needed

Requirements:

  • University Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree
  • Hands-on experience implementing interfaces between S/4HANA, MES, and other Supply Chain Platforms
  • Experience with SAP interface implementations, including harmonization, interface logic, data mapping, and transformation rules
  • Experience with SAP PI and BTP Integration Suite
  • Experience with SAP-MES master data and transactional processes
  • Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, build, testing, and implementation
  • Experience with APIs, IDocs, events, triggers, and integration patterns
  • Experience creating configuration design documents, functional and technical specifications, and test plans
  • Experience with unit, integration, user acceptance, and pilot testing
  • Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed
  • U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience with large, complex aerospace and defense enterprise projects or similarly regulated organizations preferred
  • Experience with agile frameworks and iterative software development and implementation approaches preferred
