Job Description
RTX aerospace and defense SAP Plant Maintenance manager delivering S/4HANA transformation. Leading configuration, migration, testing, cutover, and Hypercare for Plan to Sustain processes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Digital Technology work across the Blueprint, Build, Test, Cutover Deployment, and Hypercare phases of the S/4HANA Plant Maintenance implementation
- Collaborate with business, digital, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and guide effective use of S/4HANA for Plant Maintenance and related master data
- Design and implement S/4HANA solutions supporting Plan to Sustain processes, the RTX operating model, and industry best practices
- Facilitate end-to-end process mapping between S/4HANA Plant Maintenance scenarios and related boundary systems
- Lead requirements gathering, data mapping, configuration, build, and testing
- Serve as liaison across Digital Technology, business units, corporate teams, system integrators, and PMO teams
- Coordinate assigned activities and communicate work status across project teams
- Create and maintain configuration design documents, functional and technical specifications, test plans, and project artifacts
- Lead S/4HANA testing and defect remediation
- Assist data and process teams with data mapping and testing
- Support successful migration from legacy systems, go-live, and Hypercare
- Ensure future readiness across Plan to Sustain functional areas
- Travel up to 25% or as needed
Requirements:
- University Degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree and minimum 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree
- Experience configuring and supporting SAP ERP
- Technical knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance, including Equipment, Functional Locations, Notifications, Task Lists, and Maintenance Plans
- Hands-on experience supporting data cleansing and migration activities
- Experience with large, complex aerospace and defense enterprise projects or similarly regulated large organizations preferred
- Experience with agile frameworks or iterative software development and implementation approaches preferred
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed
