Job Description

Senior Manager, Sales Training developing sales training solutions for J&J Vision team. Collaborating with leadership from sales, operations, and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering sales training solutions that drive immediate execution of key organizational priorities.
  • Working closely with leadership from the sales, commercial operations, and marketing teams.
  • Delivering engaging and effective training solutions for the J&J Vision sales team at the national, regional, and district levels.
  • Consistent stakeholder engagement with Sales/Operations/Marketing leadership, leading to aligned and prioritized training solutions that enhance execution of key priorities.
  • Development, design, and execution of training to enhance selling skills and drive measurable results.
  • Ongoing evaluation of training effectiveness through objective and subjective vehicles.
  • Facilitate national training programs, workshops, and live classrooms using diverse instructional techniques such as role-playing and modeling.
  • Support the management of FSO training partners to ensure consistency and effectiveness (FSTs, Peer Coaches, RFP Leads, etc.).
  • Address ongoing training needs arising from marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales goals through cycle meetings and other forums.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including marketing teams, compliance, field sales leadership, and business partners, to maximize training impact and compliance.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required; MA/MS in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in J&J Vision, with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in training and presenting.
  • District Business Manager experience required; a track record of supporting training initiatives preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation (platform), and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, engaging curriculum.
  • Project management skills and capacity to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and gain alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with remote work and willing to travel approximately 30% domestically.
