Job Description
Senior People Business Partner strengthening Teleport’s AI infrastructure identity company. Coaching R&D leaders, shaping organization design, succession, and measurable leadership development.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose the health of supported R&D organizations and identify future needs
- Coach engineering and product managers on performance, expectations, feedback, and early problem resolution
- Coach managers and senior leaders through growth, change, and organizational challenges
- Lead organizational design, team structure, and succession planning
- Design leadership development programs and offsites
- Measure program and process effectiveness and adjust using data
- Partner closely with the HR team to align organizational health work and global employee-lifecycle support
- Use modern tools, including AI such as Claude, to diagnose organizational health and help managers work more effectively
Requirements:
- 12+ years partnering with senior leaders as a People or HR Business Partner or in organizational development, or 8+ years with an advanced degree in a related field
- Experience in infrastructure, security, developer tools, or a similarly technical product environment required
- Deep experience partnering with technical organizations such as Engineering and Product
- Fluency with how R&D teams operate
- Experience supporting a technical organization through rapid scaling
- Track record of developing senior-level leaders and above
- Experience coaching managers to improve their effectiveness
- Strength in org design, succession, change management, and measuring program effectiveness
- Ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority
- Sound judgment regarding when to act, when to involve HR, and confidentiality
