Job Description
Senior People Partner advising leaders on talent, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. Supporting HubSpot’s AI-powered customer platform and global People strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, managers, Directors, and Senior Directors within assigned functions or regions
- Coach people leaders to improve talent motivation, development, and retention
- Partner throughout the talent lifecycle, including performance reviews, performance management, talent calibrations, promotions, compensation reviews, and succession planning
- Provide Employee Relations support and guidance throughout performance management processes
- Support talent and leadership development strategy and enablement resource delivery
- Partner on organizational design and change management
- Improve efficiency through creating, operationalizing, and standardizing processes and policies
- Translate People strategy into scalable operational actions and create feedback loops for People initiatives, programs, and Centers of Excellence
- Collaborate with Employment Legal, People Operations, People team, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Finance to optimize processes
- Advise business leaders in line with local employment practices and employment law
- Use performance and Employee Relations data and trends to influence manager training and underperformance strategies
- Deliver training as needed
- Manage or participate in special projects, programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide timely and accurate responses to People Operations questions and support requests
- Identify innovative AI and automation tools to streamline processes
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced talent organization, ideally in a high-growth global tech company
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Ability to apply employment law as a trusted HR advisor
- Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and discretion
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving projects, and managing change
- Experience supporting cross-functional global teams
- Experience providing Employee Relations support
- Experience guiding leaders through performance management processes and addressing policy violations
- Ability to build trust, collaborate, and influence across various work styles and personalities
- Ability to take ownership of outcomes and proactively address obstacles
- Ability to translate unclear priorities into actionable steps and manage multiple inputs and deliverables
- High standards of honesty and ethical behavior
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive, diverse, and psychologically safe environment
- Ability to understand customer needs and deliver excellent service
- Good judgment when handling sensitive, ambiguous, and complex issues
- Must be located in the United States
