Job Description
Senior Product Marketing Manager shaping Monzo’s Business Banking products and propositions. Driving positioning, market insight and go-to-market strategy across UK and European markets.
Responsibilities:
- Own Product Marketing for an entire product or experience end-to-end
- Define a one-year Product Marketing strategy for a major Business Banking area
- Develop differentiated positioning, messaging and value propositions for customer segments
- Build messaging frameworks for Product, Sales, Integrated Marketing and broader marketing teams
- Drive competitive intelligence and market insights using customer research, commercial data, competitor intelligence and Sales insight
- Partner with Product, Research, Design and Data to shape roadmap priorities and product strategy
- Set go-to-market strategy for priority products and markets
- Define target audiences, product-switching reasons, retention requirements and success measures
- Own product representation and value messaging across customer and sales touchpoints
- Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, CRM and local market teams to align customer experiences with positioning
- Enable localisation across European markets while maintaining global consistency where appropriate
- Mentor less experienced Product Marketing Managers and improve team practices through frameworks, feedback and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Growth, Marketing and Research to align stakeholders
Requirements:
- Recognised expertise in Product Marketing
- Experience owning Product Marketing across a product area or market
- Expertise in customer understanding, competitive analysis, positioning and product strategy
- Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across Product, Sales, Growth, Marketing and Research
- Ability to build alignment around difficult product and commercial decisions
- Experience mentoring less experienced Product Marketing Managers
- Ability to improve team practices through frameworks, feedback and knowledge sharing
- Comfortable working with customer research, commercial data, competitor intelligence and Sales insight
- Willingness and ability to work across UK and European markets
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments
Benefits:
- £80,000 - £105,000 as a base salary
- Hybrid office-based and home working from the London office, or remote working within the UK
