Job Description

Senior Programme Manager driving execution of complex strategic programmes in Pearson’s English Language Learning division. Ensuring effective programme management and fostering best practices within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, strategic programmes
  • Adjust milestones and expectations to adapt to changing priorities while still driving execution and ensuring that high standards of performance are met
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business to ensure smooth programme operations
  • Form an understanding of key dependencies, unblocking where necessary and monitoring where risks are developing
  • Manage milestone and KPI reporting
  • Develop best practice for programme management for the division, including where necessary developing tools, dashboards, and visualisation
  • Drive use cases for AI for programme management within the division

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience of end-to-end programme management within large corporate environments, ideally involving multiple functions and / or stakeholder groups, and at least 7 years of corporate career experience
  • Ability to be incredibly self-directed, and a willingness to dig to find the right information and stakeholders
  • A creative and ambitious approach to problem-solving
  • An ability to influence across different teams and specialties to get things done, with strong communication skills across sales, tech, product, marketing, comms and legal
  • Fluency in English
  • *Project or programme management qualifications are preferred*
